Joy

Joy is the thing that we should all have...

It rises from our hearts...it flows through our veins

It's just there...begging to be grabbed

It helps us to cross life's hostile terrains.

Joy is like a feeling...of imponderability...

It takes us to the stars and back,

We feel the invulnerability

Of sadness...which tries to make us crack.

Joy is the very spine of human living...

Without it we won't feel anything but sadness...

Our minds would be overwhelmed with bad dreaming...

And perhaps with even madness.

Joy...they say...in Heaven is never ending...

And that the earthly joys are measured only in dimes...

But the joy that earthlings have is being alive and breathing

And hoping for future better times.
